Wills and Estates Litigation Law Clerk (Hybrid)

What you will do
  • Prepare and review applications for Certificates of Appointment, distribution plans, releases, reports, Estate Accounts, and Wills & Powers of Attorney.
  • Prepare and manage client files, submit probate applications to the court, and maintain records for distribution preparation.
  • Stay updated on changes in legislation and government policies.
  • Book and attend appointments with estates litigation counsel.
What you will need to succeed
  • Diploma from a recognized Ontario Law Clerk program certified by The Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in estates litigation, planning, and administration.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Estateably and/or Windup/Emergent programs; experience with real estate will be considered an asset.
