Whitetail Energy Services, a Centurion Company, is looking for a hands‑on, safety‑conscious Wellsite Service Technician to join our dynamic operations team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in remote settings, enjoys troubleshooting, and is committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients across Western Canada’s energy sector. The position is based out of Dawson Creek or Grande Prairie.

Core Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the efficient management of our wellsite accommodations fleet, including the setup, repair, and turnaround (cleaning) of wellsite trailers and equipping them with necessities (e.g., refrigerator).
  • Ensure regular maintenance of company vehicle and longevity of tools, equipment, and PPE.
  • Adhere to and participate in all safety protocols, as well as all customer safety protocols when on location.
  • Fill out tickets completely and accurately as soon as a job is complete.
  • Help grow and maintain relationships with clients.
Requirements
  • 3+ years’ experience working with wellsite accommodations. Technical experience with communications equipment, satellite systems, generators, light towers, and working at heights will be an asset. Experience with electrical, propane furnaces, and hot water heaters will also be considered an asset.
  • Physical fitness (some heavy lifting required) and a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • H2S Alive, First Aid / CPR, and Fall Arrest certifications.
  • Class 5 driver’s license with an acceptable 3‑year driving abstract.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship development qualities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently as well as with others to carry out goals.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to adjust priorities.
  • Ability to travel and occasionally be away overnight.
  • Able to work varying shifts and work overtime/weekends as required.
  • Demonstrate professional conduct and personal appearance.
Why Join the Centurion Team?
  • Competitive total compensation package.
  • Comprehensive health & dental benefits.
  • Eligibility for RRSP matching program after one (1) year of service.
  • Company events.
  • Employee & family assistance program.
  • Collaborative, safety‑first culture.
