Job summary

Job Details

Title: Welding Machine Operator
Location: 4211 Breen Road, Putnam, ON, Canada, N0L 2B0
Type: Permanent; Full‑time Regular
Salary: $36.00 per hour
Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
Work setting: Warehouse

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Run automated and semi‑automated welding equipment to manufacture and restore metal components
  • Handle metal‑joining equipment used for fusing and sealing fabricated products
  • Oversee welding systems and ensure continuous production operations
  • Inspect finished products to ensure welding quality and compliance with specifications
  • Support troubleshooting and basic servicing of welding‑related machinery and tools
  • Modify machine settings, fixtures, and attachments based on production requirements
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following workplace safety standards
  • Conduct on‑site maintenance and repair services
Professional Skills and Requirements
  • Completion of secondary school is required
  • Completion of a diploma or bachelor's program in a related field is preferred
