About the Role

Bayview Trucks & Equipment Ltd. is a full service, parts and sales dealer for Kenworth Trucks. We are currently hiring for our Moncton, New Brunswick location.

We are seeking a skilled full-time Welder / Technician to join our Heavy Truck Service team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about keeping heavy trucks safe and operational—all with a neat, clean finish product.

Responsibilities
  • Perform welding and fabrication on heavy truck frames, components, and installation of dump bodies.
  • Diagnose and repair structural issues on trucks and trailers.
  • Willing to assist with mechanical repairs and modifications as needed.
  • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and fabrication.
  • Knowledge of heavy truck systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and repair manuals.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Certification in welding or heavy equipment repair is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 preferred but not required).
