Job description

We’re looking for a Welder to join our client’s team for a short-term project in the Oakville area. This is a full-time, Monday-Thursday position (10‑hour days) with the possibility of extension if workload increases. Great opportunity to gain experience, enjoy long weekends, and get paid weekly!

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am‑5:30 pm

Wage: $20 per hour, paid weekly every Friday + 4% vacation pay

Location: Oakville, ON

Who We’re Looking For: Candidates with some welding experience – entry‑level welders are welcome to apply!

Position Overview

You will be responsible for setting up and operating metal fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal. Work includes shaping metal using anvils, blocks, or forms, and operating soldering and welding equipment to join steel and aluminum sheet metal parts. You will also inspect, assemble, and smooth seams and joints on fabricated components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate, fit, and weld extrusion, tubular, pipe, and sheet metal (steel & aluminum)
  • Repair metal components to restore full functionality and safety
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work area
  • Coordinate workflow with team members and third‑party partners for larger builds
  • Inspect workpieces and verify measurements to meet specifications
