Job summary

A global manufacturer of truck trailers seeks a skilled Welder to perform MIG and/or TIG welding. Candidates should have a CWB certificate and experience in heavy manufacturing. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and conducting quality checks on welds. The role requires proficiency in MIG welding and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Qualifications

Overview

Our client is a global manufacturer of truck trailers.

Working hours

Working hours: 7:30am-6pm, Mon.-Thu.

Wage

Wage: Up to $25/hr depending on the working experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on various gauges of steel and aluminum.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine welding specifications.
  • Fabricate, fit, and assemble parts to build trailer frames, sides, roofs, and doors.
  • Operate heavy machinery such as jibs, hoists, and forklifts to position materials (certification a plus).
  • Conduct quality checks on finished welds to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Other general duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
  • Capable of frequently lifting and moving objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in various positions, including bending, stooping, and kneeling.
