Our client is a global manufacturer of truck trailers.
Working hours
Working hours: 7:30am-6pm, Mon.-Thu.
Wage
Wage: Up to $25/hr depending on the working experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on various gauges of steel and aluminum.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine welding specifications.
- Fabricate, fit, and assemble parts to build trailer frames, sides, roofs, and doors.
- Operate heavy machinery such as jibs, hoists, and forklifts to position materials (certification a plus).
- Conduct quality checks on finished welds to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Other general duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in heavy manufacturing, automotive, or trailer production.
- CWB certificate is required.
- Proficiency with MIG welding processes is required; experience with aluminum is a significant plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or trade school training is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Capable of frequently lifting and moving objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in various positions, including bending, stooping, and kneeling.
