Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Welder to join our Fleet & Equipment Manufacturing Team. This role involves welding, fabricating, and modifying truck parts, attachments, and custom equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding, and a strong commitment to precision, safety, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on steel and aluminum truck parts and equipment.
  • Fabricate, repair, and modify truck components, frames, brackets, tanks, and accessories.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements accurately.
  • Inspect and verify the quality and precision of all welds and assemblies.
  • Take initiative in identifying areas for improvement or repair in the shop.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Document and track materials, repairs, and modifications accurately.
  • Work efficiently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong self‑motivation.
  • Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to support fleet maintenance operations.
  • Operate grinders, plasma cutters, and other fabrication tools.
Requirements
  • Proven experience or certification in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing precise, clean work.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects.
  • Physically capable of handling heavy materials/equipment and standing for long periods.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety and teamwork.
  • Ability to complete basic record keeping and documentation.

Preferred Skills
