Job summary

Granby Industries is seeking a welder to join its team in Canada. The role involves welding steel tanks on a production line, setting welding parameters, and performing manual welds to ensure high-quality results.

You will inspect and repair welds to meet strict standards, test tank tightness, and read welding plans. Strong precision and teamwork are required in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/DEP in welding is an asset.
• Experience in welding is required or preferred.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and precision are essential.
• Knowledge of the steel industry is an asset.
• Ability to work in variable conditions (heat, dust).
• Strong team spirit and collaboration.

Job description

YOUR MISSION OF EXCELLENCE

As a welder, you will manufacture steel tanks using welding processes, following technical drawings. You will ensure that tanks meet compliance standards and that all welds are of the highest quality.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

Weld steel tanks on a production line

Set and maintain appropriate welding parameters

Perform manual welds

Inspect and repair all welds to ensure they meet standards

Test tank tightness and fix any leaks as needed

Read and interpret welding plans and instructions

THE IDEAL PROFILE

Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in welding – an asset

Experience in welding

Strong hand-eye coordination and precision

Knowledge of the steel industry – an asset

Ability to work in variable conditions (e.g., heat, dust)

Strong team spirit and ability to collaborate
