Job summary

HM Brick and Stone Ltd. in Alberta seeks an experienced welder/fabricator to interpret welding specifications, read blueprints and operate arc welding and flame-cutting equipment at our outdoor, on-site facility.

Responsibilities include welding and fabricating metal parts, inspecting weld quality and maintaining equipment in a demanding environment. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of welding experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid forklift/WHMIS style credential suitable

• Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment and maintain welding machinery.
• Produce fabrications or repairs of metal parts per setup.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment.
