Job summary

Coke Canada Bottling is hiring Merchandisers to stock and display products in local grocery stores across Whitby, Bowmanville, Ajax and surrounding areas in Ontario. The role involves lifting, moving product and maintaining attractive displays to support client brands.

Starting at $20.00 per hour plus mileage, the position requires a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Weekend shifts are common, with some weekday flexibility, and on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 17 years of age.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in grocery, retail, warehousing or related field preferred.
• Experience with pallet jacks preferred.
• Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours.
• Must have current vehicle liability insurance.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and replenish products in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by transporting product between backroom/storage room and front-of-store with manual equipment.
• Build, change or remove product displays while adhering to company standards; maintain signage; clean space and secure damaged product.
• Follow all Coke Canada Bottling and Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety.
• Manage backroom by organizing stock and reporting inventory levels; evaluate and process damaged product; re-pack product; organize backroom materials; complete paperwork.
• Maintain an orderly and clean work area in compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
• Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, standing for long periods, and operating pallet jacks over distances.
