Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of experience in engineering and/or manufacturing.
  • Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

  • Support Plant safety improvement plans.
  • Develop and execute OEE improvement projects.
  • Manage yield improvement plans for design and process scrap.
  • Optimize webline gauging systems.
  • Lead material substitution projects.
  • Assist with new product introductions.
  • Implement renewal and cost reduction projects.
  • Support a 24/7 production environment.

Skills

Experience with Siemens industrial controls
Experience with webline variable frequency drive systems
Experience with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in engineering/technical skills
Self-starter, high energy and passion

Education

College diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical/industrial controls
