Requires DZ license, High School diploma, 1+ year experience; pay range is $26.50–$28.50 per hour. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays; strong English communication and ability to work in changing conditions.

The incumbentis responsible formaintainingcontracted assets (roadways, medians, signs, guardrails, fences, bridges, tunnels, vegetation, etc.) through operation/use of heavy equipment, particularly during seasonal needs (i.e.snow plowoperations), and any other needs per the contract requirements. This position requires a highly developed sense of safety awareness and perceptive ability. You must have the ability to recognize hazards inherent in routine and non‑routine tasks and make adjustments to avoid loss,injuryor accident. You must be able to communicate withco-workerssafety instructions. You must be able to think clearly and focus on your safety in your immediate surroundings, while using tools and equipment, while driving or operating equipment. You willbe requiredto wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)appropriate toyour job.

For Winter Season - Removal of snow and ice by using snow removal and/or sanding equipment, including salting and other seasonal maintenance on roads, bridges, etc.
For Summer Season - this role willmaintainand repair highway and other surfaces including signs, guardrails, fence, lighting, potholes, striping,addingor replacing reflectors,litterand debris removal
