Job summary

La Vie en Rose Inc. is hiring for a permanent, part-time position in Quebec. As a member of our store team, you will help process online orders, maintain product presentation, and support daily store operations with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

You will work with a diverse team in a busy retail environment, enjoying flexible hours, employee discounts, and opportunities to grow within a family-owned business that values community involvement and internal progression.

Responsibilities

• Read and reply to emails from related departments to process online orders.
• Identify, pull and prep ordered products; check quality and remove security labels.
• Order missing products and pack/ship orders via the computer system.
• Receive and validate products sent by other stores to complete orders.
• Prepare the supply orders each week.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy.
• Follow policies and procedures of head office departments.
• Perform other duties to support the team.

WHAT A TYPICAL WORKDAY LOOKS LIKE

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for processing product orders placed on the company website. To complete your work efficiently and professionally, you will need to:

• Read and reply to emails from related departments in order to process online orders;
• Identify, pull and prep ordered products—remove hangers, check each item for quality and cleanliness, remove security devices, place protected labels on products that need them and remove sales labels as needed;
• Order missing products and check, pack and ship orders via our computer system (we’ll show you how during your training!);
• Receive and validate products sent by other stores to complete orders;
• Prepare the supply order each week;
• Keep your work area clean and tidy;
• Respect and follow the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support your team.
