Job summary

Y5 Creative is seeking a Website Developer to design and implement robust web solutions for clients. You will collaborate with clients to document requirements and translate them into scalable website architectures.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on development experience, proficiency with core web technologies, and a collaborative, hybrid work approach combining in-person and remote work.

Qualifications

• College diploma or 1–2 years certificate in web development.
• 3–5 years website development experience.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to develop and document Website requirements
• Design and integrate website related code
• Develop website architecture
• Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required
• Communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
• Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the Website
• Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products
• Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
• Write, modify, integrate and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications
• Assist in design, development and testing
• Research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines
• Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials
