Job summary

Ubisoft is seeking a Web Fullstack Developer to build scalable web applications used across multiple Ubisoft studios. You’ll work on resource management, project tracking, and data analytics, contributing to the full software lifecycle with a focus on robust APIs and high performance.

You will collaborate with product teams, analysts, and developers to deliver solutions, select appropriate technologies, and continuously improve platforms in a dynamic, high-impact environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience designing and developing high-impact web applications used at scale.
• Experience building APIs and web services.
• Experience gathering requirements and solving complex technical problems.

• Actively contribute to the design, development, and evolution of Compass platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain secure and high-performing APIs.

• Identify the most appropriate technologies, tools, and approaches to address project requirements.
• Assess technical impacts, risks, and dependencies related to developments on existing systems.
• Estimate the effort required to deliver development work.

• Support, maintain, and document applications.
• Analyze, optimize, split, or refactor existing features to improve platform performance and maintainability.

• Knowledge of software development practices that promote quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
• Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and a solution-oriented mindset.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL.
