Job summary

Archive is assembling a team to build a bilingual digital platform for a nonprofit. This contract role focuses on accessibility, WCAG auditing, and remediation across English and French journeys.

Remote work within Canada is supported, with EST hours typical for collaboration with the East Coast client. Candidates should have 5–10 years of accessibility experience, solid documentation skills, and the ability to report findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Practical WCAG auditing and accessible web application implementation.
• Manual keyboard and screen-reader testing, supported by automated checks.
• Accessible forms, dynamic interfaces, error messages, documents and media.
• Familiarity with Canadian accessibility requirements, clear reporting and remediation verification.
• 5 to 10 years experience, Canada location, Work remotely.
• Must be fluent in spoken and written English, French skills are a huge asset.

Responsibilities

• Guide accessible implementation and assess key public and signed-in journeys.

Archive is assembling a team to build a bilingual digital platform for a non profit organization. Each role has one planned assignment, with specialist involvement as needed. Qualified people may cover more than one role.

Client's internal team leads product, business project management, UX/design and English/French content. Archive leads technical delivery and handover. All candidates should demonstrate relevant delivery experience, collaborative working and clear documentation. Nonprofit or education experience is an asset.

This contract role will guide accessible implementation and assess key public and signed-in journeys. Test English and French experiences, provide actionable remediation guidance and verify fixes against the accessibility criteria agreed with Client.
