Fintex Inc. in Canada is seeking a detail‑driven Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders with engineering and design teams, turning complex requirements into clear, actionable work and ensuring the right things get built, in the right order, at the right quality.

You will own the backlog end‑to‑end, work with advisors and clients, map processes, validate with UAT, and drive sprint execution, while adapting to startup pace and regulatory nuances in wealth management.

Qualifications

• Wealth management fluency with advisor-client relationships and regulatory context.
• Ability to write airtight user stories, process flows, BRDs, and data mappings.
• Ability to break down designs into well‑structured user story maps and trace to technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating with architects and technical PMs to communicate requirements.
• Strong data mapping and analysis to identify gaps and enhance systems.
• Lived Scrum or Kanban experience with a healthy backlog and sprint momentum.
• Analytical mindset to build business cases and impact analyses as needed.
• Clear, proactive communication to capture requirements with engineers.
• Attention to detail and documentation that gets used.
• Comfort with startup pace and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own the product backlog end-to-end with stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Bridge business and technology by translating requirements into specs.
• Drive sprint execution with engineering and design in daily standups and planning.
• Map current‑state workflows and define future‑state solutions.
• Validate and test features with UAT and clear test cases.
• Track progress, surface blockers early, and report status to the team.
• Wear multiple hats, balancing grooming, research, and client feedback.
