Job summary

CIBC Financial Planning Consultant role within the Financial Planning and Advice team serves high net worth clients with comprehensive wealth planning strategies, including estate planning and business transition planning. You will provide expert financial planning counsel in partnership with branch advisors, focusing on wealth management solutions.

The position allows a mix of on-site and remote work discussed at interview, with a base annual salary of CAD 50,000 and eligibility for incentive

Qualifications

• CFP designation required.
• CSC and CPH coursework; CFP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise of wealth planning for high net worth clients.
• Analyze client portfolios to design retirement/investment plans and coordinate with advisors.
• Educate clients and relationship managers on wealth planning solutions.
• Coordinate delivery of products/services with relationship managers and identify referral opportunities.
• Collaborate with branch teams to identify high-value clients and present regular seminars.
