Job summary

Scotiabank in Canada’s Fort St. John seeks a Financial Planner (FAIR) within our retail branch network to advance investment and retirement planning for an existing client book. You’ll manage client relationships, deliver tailored strategies and use planning tools while meeting deposits and investment sales goals.

Preferred CIFP/CFP designation or equivalent and Mutual Funds license; relocation support offered. Build strong client experiences in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial planning and investment sales is preferred.
• CIFP/CFP designation or bank-recognized equivalent.
• Mutual Funds Representative license in good standing with licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Establish and deepen investment and primary banking relationships with assigned clients.
• Review retirement planning, wealth accumulation and estate planning for clients.
• Deliver trusted financial advice and tailored financial strategies.
• Foster client engagement and grow long-standing relationships.
• Leverage technology tools to enhance planning processes.
