Job summary

A leading investment counselling firm is seeking a Wealth Concierge to offer high-level service to Investment Counsellors and their clients. Responsibilities include preparing presentation materials, managing client inquiries, and ensuring excellent client service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a degree, along with relevant experience in wealth management. This position is full-time with a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $80,000 based on experience.

What is the opportunity? RBC PH&N Investment Counsel (“RBC PH&N IC”) is one of Canada’s leading boutique investment counselling firms with investment professionals nationwide acting exclusively for high-net-worth clients and small business owners. We provide clients with discretionary investment management and privileged access to the expertise of our RBC Wealth Management Services team which includes highly accredited lawyers, accountants, and financial planning specialists. As the Wealth Concierge, you will be responsible for supporting a team of established Investment Counsellors and their valued clients with concierge level service and coordination. You will possess a passion for service excellence with a focus on problem resolution and attention to detail, while coordinating with various department and internal partners.

What will you do?

  • Provide excellence in client service, by responding to all client inquiries, update client files as required and prepare client presentation material for wealth planning meetings.
  • Prepare all Annual Review Meeting material in advance.
  • Review Financial Plan, Will and Estate Plan and Insurance information prior to client presentation.
  • Utilize SalesForce when updating Wealth Planning items and my Discovery preparation.
  • Communicate with COI’s / CA’s / LLB’s etc.
  • Support advisory team and client through the wealth management process. Help gather relevant info, documents, and questionnaires. Enter data into specific applications (e.g., myGPS). Track progress and follow‑up.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the partners, COI’s and other resources necessary to support the role and team in their daily operations.
  • Proactively assist with client management of appointments and scheduled meetings / calls
  • Assist the Investment Counsellors and the team where additional support is needed based on volume of administrative workflow and client confirmation transactions.
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
  • University Degree
  • Successful completion of CSC (Canadian Securities Course)
  • CFP, PFP, or working towards either designation.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize urgent tasks efficiently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Nice-to-have
  • CIM Designation (Chartered Investment Management)

The expected salary range for the above position is $50,000 - 80,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary / variable incentive payment.
