Aviso is seeking a Business Analytics Specialist to join the IT Business Analytics Team in Canada. You will support Aviso Wealth by updating and distributing analytics reports, performing ad-hoc data mining, and delivering insights to senior management.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of financial analysis experience, a degree in business/CS, and strong SQL/Excel/Power BI capabilities. The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and client-focused reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in business, accounting, CS or related field.
• Experience in brokerage or investment management industry.
• Minimum 3+ years of related financial analysis experience.
• Experience as a business intelligence developer preferred.
• Create reporting and analysis using SQL, Excel Services and Power BI.
• Ability to write relational SQL queries; advanced Excel and Power BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Business Analytics Reporting and Analysis.
• Updating and distributing established business reporting for internal and external decision makers.
• Ad-hoc data mining for specific analysis.
• Maintain and enhance reporting and analysis for key decision makers.
• Oversee reporting solution development with light project management.
• Prepare, analyze and report on key financial performance metrics.
• Gather and interpret financial data; compile monthly reports for senior management.
