Manufacturing Job Site in Burnaby, BC is seeking an Experienced Water Restoration Technician. The role involves cleaning, emergency mitigation and structural drying, with on-site customer service and coordination with Project Managers.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years water damage experience, IICRC certification, and a valid BC driver’s license. On-call work is required with overtime rates; benefits and paid training are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years water damage experience
• IICRC certification preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Valid BC driver's license
• Clean criminal record
• Available for on-call work (on-call rates apply)

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, emergency mitigation and structural drying services
• Work with project managers on flood and fire damage assessments
• Use moisture testing instruments and write job scopes
• Organize equipment and materials for each job
• Direct and delegate tasks to labourers and ensure site safety
• Handle related paperwork and job coordination
• Take asbestos samples and deliver to the lab
• Provide onsite training for technicians and labourers
• Order, pick up and return equipment as needed
