Job summary
A leading community development firm is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer in Toronto to manage stormwater management designs for various projects. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of relevant experience, strong technical expertise, and leadership skills. Responsibilities include guiding project teams, overseeing design criteria, and liaising with clients and agencies. Competitive pay range of $114,600.00 - $164,600.00 annually and comprehensive benefits are offered.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of stormwater management engineering experience.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) with Professional Engineers Ontario.
- Experience in land development engineering or linear infrastructure design.
Responsibilities
- Lead and complete surface water resources components for various projects.
- Guide stormwater management designs across all project stages.
- Analyze project requirements and develop design criteria.
Skills
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of Ontario's stormwater guidelines
Leadership and team building skills
Project management and client management
Experience with stormwater management modelling
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
