Job summary

The position requires sorting, dumping and handling soiled linens, with a 4-day work week starting at 7:00 AM. Applicants must be legally allowed to work in Canada and be available for weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Must be able to communicate in English (read, write, speak).
• On-site training offered.

Responsibilities

• Empty tubs and prepare soiled linens for sorting.
• Sort and separate linen into wash classifications.
• Remove garbage or lost items from soiled linens.
• Ensure products are not mixed and dispose of sharp objects safely.
• Monitor chutes to prevent overweights and monitor conveyor heights as directed by supervisor.
• Assist loading/unloading soil bins and dump onto trailers.
