Agropur is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join its team in Etobicoke.


The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of the plant warehouse with the goal of shipping, receiving and transferring product in an efficient and economical manner. The Warehouse Manager develops, promotes, and maintains a safe warehouse environment and a workforce capable of meeting warehouse requirements in accordance with customer needs and the overall goals of the organization.

  • Salary range 005: 86 900$ to 108 600$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)

What’s involved in this role:

More specifically, the Warehouse Manager’s responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee daily warehouse functions including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.

  • Drive operational efficiency through process optimization and resource planning

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and lead regular audits and reconciliations.

  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with occupational health regulations.

  • Conduct safety training and maintain documentation in line with union and legal standards.

  • Lead investigations into workplace incidents and implement corrective actions.

  • Supervise unionized staff in accordance with collective bargaining agreements (CBAs).

  • Lead resolution of grievances in collaboration with union representatives.

  • Apply disciplinary procedures fairly and consistently, respecting seniority and contractual obligations.

  • Participate in labor negotiations, contract interpretation, and union meetings.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of labor relations activities.

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet service level agreements.

  • Collaborate with carriers and vendors for timely and cost-effective delivery.

  • Resolve transportation and delivery issues efficiently.

  • Lead and facilitate events to identify and eliminate waste in warehouse processes.

  • Track, analyze, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive operational improvements.

  • Conduct root cause analysis using 5 Whys and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to resolve recurring issues.

What you need to join our team:

  • Bachelor's or college diploma in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or equivalent experience.

  • 5-7 years of experience in warehouse or operations management.

  • Unionized environment experience.

  • Proficiency in inventory and warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.

  • Knowledge of SAP (an asset).
