Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker in a temperature-controlled environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting the production line by assisting graders, manually loading and unloading pallets of fruit and vegetables, and ensuring smooth operations throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Manually load and unload pallets of fruit and vegetables onto tables for graders.
• Move boxes and pallets using manual dollies and jacks.
• Manually lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds, with most boxes ranging from 42 to 45 pounds.
• Wrap pallets using a wrapping machine.
• Stand for the entire shift and perform repetitive tasks.
• Pay attention to detail and read labels accurately.

• Ability to lift 45 pounds consistently.
• Capability to stand for 8 hours a day.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong teamwork skills and reliability.

Work Environment

Work in a production facility handling fresh produce with a team of 83 people, including team leads and managers. The production room is maintained at about 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Enjoy a fun atmosphere that embraces cultural diversity and focuses on strong team collaboration. The initial shift is from 10 AM to 6 PM, Tuesday to Friday, with additional shifts on Saturdays during busy periods.

This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, Alberta.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
