Position

As our innovative business grows rapidly, we are seeking a full-time Warehouse Worker/Order Assembler for our Edmonton location. This person will perform an array of functions that may include picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday. Day or evening shifts. Must be flexible.

Wage: Starting from $21/hr

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure that production quality is maintained.

  • Report to the supervisor any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality, or personnel safety.

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

  • Making sure shipping processes are completed as needed. These include (but are not limited to):

    • All orders shipped and invoiced correctly.

    • All orders were delivered.

    • All frozen items produced are placed in the blast freezer.

    • The product has been rotated according to FIFO.

  • Maintaining the proper QA levels/standards.

  • Follow all HACCP regulations.

  • Conduct semi-annual employee performance evaluation reviews (November).

  • Maintain equipment to ICP Standards.

  • Plan and execute production to fulfill all regulatory as well as SQF requirements.

  • May perform Driver duties occasionally.

  • Perform any other duties as required.

Qualifications
  • Stand-up Forklift and pallet jack experience required.

  • Must be ok working in colder environment

  • Must have Class 5 License and clean drivers abstract.

  • Ability to follow directions, standard procedures and respond to instructions.

  • Must be ok with frequent lifting, pushing & pulling up to 65 lbs

  • Ability to solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.

  • Must have ability to read, write and communicate in English.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
