Job summary

Worldpac, a leading automotive parts distributor, seeks a DC Associate to join our Richmond, BC distribution center. You will pick, pack, and stage parts, operate RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and voice-picking systems, and help receive and move materials.

You must be 18+, eligible to work in Canada, and ready for varied shifts including overtime, weekends, and holidays. A high school diploma is required; warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/secondary school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Eligible to work in the country for which you are applying
• Ability to work on various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide
• Safety rules and procedures must be followed

Responsibilities

• Marks pallets with identifying store information.
• Uses RF scanners to enter records.
• Operates equipment (pallet jack, forklift).
• Uses voice picking system.
• Keeps work area neat and hazard free.
• Assists in receiving and moving materials within the warehouse.

What You Will Contribute At Worldpac

• Marks pallets with identifying store information.

• Will be required to use a handheld radio frequency device (R.F. Unit)
• Consistent, reliable attendance

What You Should Have

Education: High School/secondary school diploma or general education degree (GED)/homeschool equivalency

Must-Have Skills

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Eligible to work in the country for which you are applying
• Ability to work on various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic math strategies: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Nice-to-Have Skills (but Not Required)

• Prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not required

Worldpac expects to pay a base salary in the range provided on this job posting. Generally, we look to bring in candidates around the 50th percentile of the advertised range. However, this is never a guarantee. Within the range, individual pay will be determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Pay Range
