Warehouse Worker (April 2025 - January 2026)

The LCBO is an Ontario government enterprise and one of the world's largest buyers and retailers of beverage alcohol.

Under the direction of department supervisor, you will perform a variety of responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, safe case handling, storing, preparing, checking, and assembling functions either manually or by operating material handling equipment, including rideable equipment.

We are hiring Warehouse Workers to join the team in our Thunder Bay Retail Service Centre located at 615 Harold Crescent, Thunder Bay. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are committed to completing their tasks. Above all, we value Warehouse Workers who don't mind lifting heavy items.

About the Role:

  • Select, assemble, and prepare pallet orders for customers
  • Physically able to load and unload cases of beer, wine, spirits, and cider weighing between 40 lbs (18 kg) and 60 lbs (27 kg)
  • Required to stand for lengthy periods with repetitive movements such as reaching, climbing, bending, twisting, and walking
  • Assist in cleaning up accidental spills; safety is a priority

About You:

  • We encourage students and those able to work a second job to apply
  • You must complete a criminal record check paid for by the LCBO
  • Ability to follow procedures and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in reading, writing, and basic arithmetic
