Job summary

Tile and Stone Source, an Edmonton-based distributor of tiles, stones and mosaics, is hiring a Full-Time Warehouse Worker with immediate availability.

You will be part of a team, handle shipments, assist with loading, inspections, inventory, and freight scheduling, and use equipment as needed. The role emphasizes reliability, basic math, and safe lifting practices. Experience in warehousing and proficiency with Excel/email are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of completing waybills, bills of lading, and international shipments.
• Training in safe lifting methods.
• Computer literacy including Excel and e-mail.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately.
• Load and unload shipments, with repetitive heavy lifting and equipment use.

Join Edmonton’s fastest growing tile company! Tile and Stone Source is a distributor of tiles, stones, and mosaics and we are growing our team. We are seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Worker with immediate availability. Our ideal candidate would self-disciplined and able to work on their own and as one of the team. Will spend time with the Manager going over the needs to the warehouse.

The day-to-day responsibilities of the Warehouse Worker will be to:

• Ensure the accurate and seamless processing of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment, e.g., lift truck, forklift, etc.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify contents and quality
• Assist with scheduling freight appointments.
• Complete waybills and bills of landing and international shipments
• Weigh and measure product
• Manage inventory and vendor relations with shipping companies

On your resume, we will be looking for the following:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Basic mathematical skills
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Knowledge of filling out waybills, bills of landing, and international shipments
• Working knowledge and training in safe lifting methods
• Computer literacy, including working skills of Excel and e-mail
