Overview

Title: Warehouse worker

Location: Burnaby BC V5J 5H9

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr. On W2

Shift: 8:30AM to 5PM

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Responsibilities

• Receiving & Inspection: Unpack incoming customer shipments and prepare tools for the next stage in the repair process.
• Accurately log received items using the SAP system (training provided).
• Shipping & Fulfillment: Prepare and package outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation and labeling.
• Complete Hazmat paperwork for applicable shipments (UPS / FedEx / LTL).
• Inventory & Material Handling: Assist in warehousing and inventory control of spare parts and packaging materials.
• Organize and replenish packaging supplies to ensure availability and accessibility.
• Workplace Organization & Safety: Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in accordance with 5S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement using LEAN practices.
• Team Collaboration & Performance: Support team goals by completing tasks efficiently and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Participate in cross-functional tasks and other duties as assigned.

Warehouse conditions

Temperature control warehouse (heat and air condition)

Workshop environment is subject to noise, dust and other particles

Safety Equipment Required

• Must observe and abide by any and all safety regulations as required by Hilti and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
• Proper labeling and handling of hazardous materials per Hilti and OSHA policy
• Must wear steel toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, and other safety equipment as required when working in the warehouse and/or operating machinery

Physical Requirements

• Regular heavy lifting of 50+ lbs.
• Occasional heavy lifting up to 75 lbs. required
• Warehouse material handling equipment and truck loading / unloading
• Must be able to tolerate prolonged standing, repetitive bending and reaching, and climbing up and down ladders
