Eurofins CDMO Alphora is looking for an experienced Warehouse Technician to join our growing team! The successful candidate will be responsible for the control of materials within our warehouse including raw materials, intermediates, finished products and waste streams. In addition, you will oversee material receipt and sampling, inventory management, including consumables, and coordinating the transfer of material and equipment between our cGMP manufacturing facilities.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow Environmental, Health and Safety rules/regulations and report any workplace incidents, injuries or accidents immediately
• Support the production schedule while working closely with key stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Operations, Technology Transfer, Quality Control and Quality Assurance
• Receipt, Quarantining and Sampling of cGMP raw materials
• Staging of raw materials for cGMP Operations
• Identifying, organizing, and segregating hazardous chemical wastes according to the appropriate waste class
• Submission of raw material samples to Quality Control
• Shipping of material(s) and equipment via courier between sites
• Support Supply Chain during the shipment of all materials (e.g. final products) as required by Clients
• Cleaning and housekeeping of the Warehouse and Sampling facilities
• Adherence to all relevant EHSPs, GLI’s, GAP’s and SOP’s
• Interact with clients as required
• Interact with cGMP auditors or various agencies (e.g. FDA) as required
• Actively support monthly inventory cycle counts and year end counts

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a minimum of a College Diploma or Degree
• Have experience working in a cGMP environment
• Have experience working with an Inventory Management System (i.e., Ross ERP)
• Have experience with shipments, domestic and international
• Have proficient written and verbal skills
• Be capable of multi-tasking and performing duties with limited supervision
• Have good interpersonal skills
• Have good time management skills
• Have good documentation skills
• Have a minimum of 1 year experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing warehouse with experience in a cGMP warehouse preferred
