Job summary

A leading engineering company in Fort McMurray is seeking a Warehouse Technician & Delivery Driver. You will be responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory management, and safely delivering products to oil sands customers. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 3 driver’s license and experience in warehouse operations. This position is onsite, during day shifts, with no weekends.

Qualifications

  • Experience in shipping and warehouse operations required.
  • Must have valid Class 3 driver’s license with Air Brakes endorsement.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Support Shipping and Receiving through inventory management and inspections.

Purpose of Role : To support our Warehouse in shipping and receiving, and fulfill delivery of ESCO Products to Oil Sands customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Shipping and Receiving by performing pick / pack tasks, managing inventory, and completing inspections using WHS-compliant procedures and logical transactions.
  • Operate Forklifts and Skid Steers for safe and efficient handling of freight, including loading / unloading trucks and moving materials across warehouse and mine sites.
  • Deliver ESCO Products to customers locally and in surrounding oil sands areas, ensuring fleet compliance with safety fitness certificates, CVIP inspections, logbooks, and insurance.
  • Maintain Warehouse Standards through general labor, housekeeping, and team collaboration to uphold safety and maintenance protocols.
  • Use ERP and Computer Systems for inventory counting, order processing, and tracking materials across multiple locations.

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in shipping and warehouse operations
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Valid Class 3 (or higher) driver’s license with Air Brakes endorsement
  • Forklift operation experience preferred
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered for candidates who can meet the role’s objectives
