Job summary

Nutrien seeks a reliable Warehouse Associate in Vermilion, Alberta to support efficient product flow and order picking. You will review bills of lading, prioritize trailer loading, inspect goods, and ensure safe storage per AWSA. Strong adherence to safety, and ability to handle 50–60 lb loads, are essential.

Experience with SAP is a plus. This full-time role requires teamwork, accuracy, and the willingness to operate forklifts and equipment as needed in a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow operational plans to ensure efficient flow of customer products.
• Review bills of lading to pick orders safely and accurately.

• Complete bills of lading legibly and route to correct locations.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE as required.

What You'll Do

• Effectively follow operational plans to ensure efficient flow of customer products
• Review bill of lading to pick orders in a safe, timely, and accurate manner
• Ensure all orders are efficiently staged and checked for accuracy
• Prioritize the loading of trailers per order of delivery
• Inspect all received goods noting damages and ensuring storage in proper location
• Legibly and accurately complete bills of lading, routing to correct locations
• Actively follow safety procedures for different types of equipment, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• Inspect equipment and facility for safety deficiencies, notifying Warehouse Supervisor immediately of risks for injuries or possible damages
• Maintain warehouse in orderly fashion and store products according to Agrichemical Warehousing Standards (AWSA)
• As assigned, complete in-house equipment repairs in a timely manner
• As needed, assist with production lines contributing to a positive team environment
• Perform other duties and assignments to meet operational needs of the business

• Successfully complete training to safely operate a forklift (centering loads, maintaining visibility, proper refueling, and following work area speed limits)
• Previous equipment operation (e.g., skid steer, forklift) and maintenance experience is a bonus
• Previous work experience using SAP software is a plus but not required
