Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description: This position requires supervising warehouse staff at a new facility in Balzac/Rocky View, Alberta. The role involves overseeing the distribution and logistics operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, and managing shipping processes.

Shift:

Monday to Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm - this position is not transit accessible.

Pay:

$65,000 CAD annual salary

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff and daily operations.
• Manage and oversee distribution and logistics activities.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and control.
• Coordinate shipping and the person processes effectively.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems and RF technology.
• Implement quality management programs and maintain standards.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a Supervisor in a warehouse setting.
• Leadership experience in managing teams.
• Proficiency in inventory management and food grade distribution.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and RF technology.
• Experience with bills of lading (BOLs) and quality management programs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and forklifts.
• Experience with cycle counts.
• Customer service skills.

Work Environment

Work in a brand new facility in Rocky View/Balzac. The environment is safety-oriented with an open-door policy. Expect a 90% office and 10% floor work distribution, with shifts from Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, plus overtime as needed. Once hiring is complete, the facility will host approximately 25 employees.
