Job summary

Crossroads C&I in Edmonton is seeking a dedicated warehouse associate to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack while maintaining accurate inventory. You will perform cycle counts, verify loads, and help ensure shipments are secure and timely.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to stand for long periods, and basic math skills. Prior warehouse experience is preferred; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment is required.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required.

Job Description

Your Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Cycle count inventory, storing in orderly and accessible manner, while inspecting stock items for wear or defects and reporting to supervision.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours to perform job related tasks.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for Company purposes, a valid driver’s license will be required.
• Ability to use a handheld scanning unit.
• Compute basic math problems.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements

Compensation Range

$17.50 - $30.32
