A staffing agency is hiring a warehouse material handler for a fully onsite position in Cambridge, ON. Responsibilities include kitting parts for production and receiving inventory. Overview

Everyone is hired as a warehouse material handler. There are two parts to this role listed below. Typically you start in kitting.

Responsibilities

• Kitting: Using pick lists and RF scanners to “kit” parts ready for production floor as required, putting away parts that have come in and been received to ensure ready for kitting.
• Receiving: Offloading trucks and bringing parts into the warehouse, re-packaging parts and attaching ATS label using RF scanners and computers.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 6 months experience in a warehouse, inventory, order picking or material transaction role.
2. 6 months of forklift experience (ideally third party certification)
3. Ability to lift up to 25-40 lbs. several times a day
4. Experience working with a computerized inventory system or comfortable working on a computer

There are both day and afternoon shifts available.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 / hr.
