Job Title: Warehouse Receiving Team Lead

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Receiving Team Lead to oversee our receiving and inventory management operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead all receiving and inventory management duties, including offloading freight trucks, examining and documenting incoming shipments, and rejecting damaged items.
• Report any discrepancies to the Manager or Operations Team.
• Manage the inventory putaway flow, handle returns, and maintain accurate inventory records through physical counts.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to oversee all floor operations, direct warehouse team members, and flex manpower based on business need.
• Maintain a consistent workflow in all areas to meet customer service levels.
• Champion a safe, efficient, and clean work environment by offering guidance and training on safety policies and lean practices.
• Enforce 5S principles, keep all areas neat, participate in Joint Health & Safety meetings, and document maintenance and supply levels for tools.
• Assist with any general warehouse tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience as a shipping/receiving team lead.
• Warehouse experience.
• Forklift licensed (counterbalance).
• ERP system experience (comfortable with computers and documentation).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Netsuite.
• Prior experience with Health and Safety.
