Every project is thoughtfully designed, meticulously planned, and flawlessly delivered through the collaboration of passionate creative professionals.

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse & Production Lead to oversee the planning, preparation, and execution of our projects from concept handoff through installation and completion.

This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on organization, enjoys building efficient systems, and takes pride in ensuring every project is prepared to the highest standard before it ever leaves our operations hub.

The Opportunity

The Warehouse & Production Lead is responsible for overseeing the operational planning, production, preparation, procurement, inventory management, warehouse organization, and logistics required to successfully execute our projects.

Working closely with our Creative Director, Design Team, Floral Team, and Project Leads, you’ll ensure every project is accurately quoted, properly sourced, efficiently organized, and fully prepared for installation.

You’ll also serve as the primary operational contact throughout production, coordinating vendors, suppliers, logistics, and internal departments while supporting installation teams on-site when required.

What You’ll Do
Production Management
  • Lead the production planning and preparation of luxury weddings, corporate events and seasonal installations.
  • Review project designs and determine production requirements, labour needs, inventory, and logistics.
  • Develop production schedules and ensure projects remain on track from initial handoff through completion.
  • Coordinate production timelines across internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Anticipate production challenges and implement proactive solutions.
Warehouse Leadership
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation, organization, and continual improvement of the warehouse and off-site storage facilities.
  • Develop and maintain inventory systems, warehouse layouts, labeling standards, and storage processes.
  • Ensure décor, florals, furnishings, equipment, and production materials are properly maintained, organized, and readily accessible.
  • Lead warehouse preparation for upcoming projects, ensuring all materials are staged accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional working environment.
Procurement & Project Quoting
  • Prepare accurate project quotations for décor, rentals, fabrication, logistics, floral products, and installation requirements while working within established company pricing guidelines.
  • Source materials, rentals, floral products, fabrication supplies, and specialty items for assigned projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trusted vendors and suppliers.
    Coordinate purchasing timelines to ensure materials arrive on schedule and meet project specifications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiencies and maximize the use of existing company inventory.
  • Support and lead installation teams on-site as required.
  • Ensure projects are installed according to approved design plans and company quality standards.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, problem solving, and adapting to changing site conditions.
  • Oversee project dismantles and ensure inventory is returned, inspected, and properly stored.
Client & Project Coordination
  • Act as the primary operational point of contact for assigned projects, maintaining clear, timely, and professional communication with clients, venues, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams from project handoff through final completion.
  • Ensure project timelines, logistics, procurement, deliveries, and production schedules are communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate vendor deliveries, transportation schedules, and production requirements to support a seamless project experience.
  • Represent Cory Christopher Design with professionalism, confidence, and exceptional customer service throughout every interaction.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of five years of professional experience
  • in event production, logistics, warehouse operations, hospitality, construction, visual merchandising, or a related industry.
  • Previous experience leading teams, coordinating projects, or managing production operations.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement, logistics, and warehouse organization.
  • Experience preparing quotations, sourcing materials, and coordinating vendors.
    Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Confidence making decisions and solving problems under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Experience with any of the following is considered an asset:

  • Experience with inventory or project management software
  • Luxury weddings or event production
  • Seasonal or Christmas installations
  • Floral production
  • Hospitality environments
  • Custom fabrication
  • Driving cube trucks or towing trailers
  • Forklift or lift certification
Candidates MUST be willing and able to:
  • Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and peak seasonal periods.
  • Travel to project locations throughout Alberta, with occasional travel outside the province.
  • Stand, crouch, bend and work on their feet for long periods of time
  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Possess excellent spoken English and general communication skills
  • Maintain a professional appearance while representing the Cory Christopher brand.
  • Have reliable transportation and maintain a valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record. The nature of event prep and installation means that a single shift may be split over multiple locations.
