About the role

This position is responsible for all functions in the molding packaging process after the boxes/supersacks are packed while adhering to all GMP and HACCP operating procedures.

Key responsibilities
  • Monitors automatic robot arm and perform regular checks.
  • Manual recordkeeping of all Finished Goods leaving the production area.
  • Stages pallets once shrink wrapped.
  • Troubleshooting with production team on weight of the bags/boxes.
  • Keep work area clean.
  • Recordkeeping of consumptions via SAP.
  • Transport pallets via the forklift.
  • Follow packaging paperwork to ensure proper material is used.
  • Must promote a safe working environment and good GMP’s.
  • Committed to providing a safe food product.
  • Works within all regulatory requirements.
  • Perform all other related duties as requested.
About you
  • High school diploma.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment an asset.
  • Familiar with computers and SAP.
  • Lift truck certification and experience with reach forklift.
  • May require a skills evaluation.
  • Must be able to freely move around entire facility.
  • Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
  • Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time.
  • Bend, squat, stretch, reach; frequently.
  • Ability to climb stairs, often.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility.
