Job summary

Hoskin Scientific Limited in Coquitlam is seeking a reliable Warehouse Worker to join our in-office team. You will support receiving, storage, and shipping of goods while maintaining a clean, safe workplace.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading vehicles, using RF scanners, picking and packing orders, creating shipments, and performing regular cycle counts. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, forklift license, strong English communication, and the ability to work independently or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Must have forklift/reach truck license and experience.
• Basic math and communication skills, attention to detail, ability to operate warehouse equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Must be organized; self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team.
• A positive attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading courier and freight trucks
• Picking orders using the RF scanner
• Checking orders for accuracy
• Packing orders in boxes or on skids so that they are ready to ship
• Creating shipments and/or weigh bills for the couriers and trucks
• Receiving products using the RF scanners and Business Central ERP
• Finding a bin for the product on the shelves
• Communicating with both purchasing and CSR/sales reps for any discrepancies using both e-mail and phone when necessary
• Keeping your work area and the rest of the warehouse clean and tidy
• Labelling products and shelves within the warehouse
• Moving products to different areas in the warehouse
• Take out garbage and recycling
• Cutting tubing and wiring to correct lengths
• Inventory counts
• Cycle counts
• Other duties as assigned
