Job summary

Medline Canada Corporation is seeking a warehouse associate to pick, pack and ship orders to meet production and intercompany transfer needs. You will receive raw materials, pick items with RF scanner, and ship finished products to distribution centers.

The role requires English reading/writing, basic math, and physical ability to stand long shifts, lift up to 60 lbs, and work overtime. On-site work at multiple Canadian warehouses is expected.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Basic math (addition and subtraction).
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day, up to 6 days a week.
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Open cartons with safety knife and prepare items for fulfillment.
  • Operate light machinery (pallet jacks, order picking machines) to pick orders and move materials.
  • Use RF tracker to fulfill orders and update transactions.
  • View inventory with AS400 system and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Job Description Summary

Pick orders to satisfy the requirements of productions work orders, sample orders, and intercompany raw material transfers. Receive raw material in a timely fashion to satisfy customer demand. Ship finished product for distribution.

Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Open cartons with safety knife; grasp and pull part; knot poly bags; break down corrugate.
  • Operate light machinery (e.g., pallet jacks, order picking machines) to efficiently pick orders and move materials within the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Read orders and fulfill orders by using RF tracker for transactions while maintaining performance to standard based on Performance Management System (ProTrack).
  • Use AS400 system to view our inventory.
  • Maintain clean/safe work area.

  • Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Basic math (addition and subtraction).
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week.
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Must be able to Bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily.
  • May need to work at off-site warehouse based on business needs.
  • Must be able to work daily overtime (2-3 hours) on regular basis up to 6 days a week.
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Certified on wave and order picker.

The anticipated salary range for this position: $19.81 - $29.71 Hourly
