Job summary

Medline Canada is seeking a Warehouse Operator 1 to receive, process, organize and store inventory. You will pick and pack orders, maintain accurate records, and ensure a safe, clean, and efficient workplace. You must be able to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Reports to Sr. Warehouse Supervisor. Schedule: Mon-Fri 9 AM–5:30 PM. Pay rate: $19.50/hour. Medline Canada is an equal opportunity employer and offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent distribution or warehouse experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using RF scanner or manual picking preferred but not required.
• Licensed with forklifts (Counterbalance/Raymond Reach/Order Picker/Dock Stocker) is a strong asset.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills both oral and written.
• Intermediate knowledge of computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack order in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when required.
• Coordinate activities surrounding the warehouse operations.
• Unpack, inspect, sort and store stock in appropriate locations.
• Ensure pallets and shelving units are in good working condition.
• Organize stock and maintain inventories.
• Maintain safety compliance when operating material handling equipment.
• Report any unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description Summary

The Warehouse Operator 1 is responsible for receiving, processing, organizing, and storing inventory in the warehouse. This role involves picking and packing orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. The candidate selected for this role, must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods. They should also be able to frequently lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift. Physical stamina is essential since the tasks are consistent and fast-paced throughout the workday.

• Strong communication skills both oral and written


• SAP background preferred but not required


• Intermediate knowledge of computer applications

The Anticipated Salary Range For This Position

$19.81 - $29.71 Hourly
