Job summary

Medline Canada is hiring a Warehouse Operator I to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, storing, and fulfilling inventory. The role requires strong physical stamina and the ability to stand and walk for long periods. Shift Timings: Mon-Fri 6AM - 2:30PM or 8AM - 4:30PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse or distribution experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• RF scanner experience preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience or licenses (Counterbalance, Reach, Order Picker, Dock Stocker) is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when required.
• Unpack, inspect, sort and stock shelves; maintain inventory records.
• Ensure pallets and shelving units are in good working condition.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow OSHA safety regulations.
• Report unsafe conditions and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position requires strong physical stamina, including the ability to stand and walk for long periods and regularly lift up to 50 pounds in a fast paced setting.

Job Description

Shift Timings:

• Mon-Fri 6AM - 2:30PM
• Mon-Fri 8AM - 4:30PM

Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack order in an accurate and efficient manner
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, when required
• Coordinates activities surrounding the warehouse operations
• Unpack, inspect, sort and put stock away in appropriate locations
• Ensure pallets and shelving units are in good working conditions
• Organize stock and maintain inventories
• Maintain safety compliance when operating material handling equipment
• Report on any unsafe work conditions that may occur
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow company policies and OSHA safety regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Key Competencies:

• Ability to lift 50 LBS
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Required to operate material handling equipment

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of recent distribution or warehouse experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable working at heights while using machinery, when required
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Experience using RF scanner or manual picking preferred but not required
• Licensed with any one of the following forklifts: Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, Order (Cherry) Picker, or Dock Stocker (Reach experience preferred) is a strong asset
• Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills both oral and written
• SAP background preferred but not required
• Intermediate knowledge of computer applications

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$19.81 - $29.71 Hourly
