Job summary

A leading e-commerce company based in Toronto is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee and implement warehouse procedures, manage inventory, and prepare KPI reports. Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of logistics experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of e-commerce and the ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin are preferred. This is a full-time position with a focus on improving warehouse operations.

Overview

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
  • Participate in warehousing design, establish and implement warehouse procedures, quality control processes and various indicator systems, and be responsible for the KPI of warehouse operations.
  • Manage WMS system data for record keeping and accuracy.
  • Contribute to and work with the team on projects including contract preparation, documentation review, and data reporting.
  • Maintain customer/client relations.
  • Responsible for pricing and discount level management.
  • Review overall KPI’s on a frequent basis and discuss the results with the management team to evaluate improvement opportunities and results.
  • Manage warehouse and Fulfillment Centre inventory balancing customer experience, sales and storage capacity while meeting SLA commitments.
  • Manage customer fulfillment KPI’s such as in-stock, late outbound order management, customer fill rates, system lead days, etc.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly data tracking/collection and prepare KPI reports and presentation slides.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the management team.
Qualifications
  • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
  • 2-5 years of experience in logistics or warehousing.
  • Good time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • E-commerce/supply chain knowledge is a big plus.
  • BA/BS required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin Chinese fluently.
