As a Warehouse Manager , you will be able to have a hands-on role in the day-to-day operations of your warehouse, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving while ensuring that all operations adhere to company policies.

You will help your team succeed by being the person that people count on, holding yourself and others accountable for results, and creating a supportive environment. You will make a difference by leading a high performing team ensure they bring out their best for themselves and our customers.

You will make a difference by :
  • Foster and sustain a positive work environment that drives high employee motivation., ensuring clear communication to align the team with the warehouse’s objectives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging employee suggestions and innovative solutions.
  • Overseeing the recruitment and training of new hires, while providing support to warehouse employees as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Respect health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees in alignment with local and global health and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to promote a culture of safety.
  • Monitor inventory levels to minimize excess stock and reduce carrying costs. Optimize warehouse layout, workflow, and processes to improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance productivity, while maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment.
  • Assigning work schedules and timesheets to Warehouse and delivery Workers and preparing a list of outgoing shipments.
  • Analyze operational costs and KPIs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Analyse and present regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, safety, and delivery performance.
  • Establish professional relationships when liaising with clients (internal and external), suppliers, transport companies, internal supply chain teams, and your People and Culture partners
Who you are :
  • 5-7 years experience in distribution management and / or managing a team, preferably within an automotive market.
  • Degree or certification in Logistics or Supply Chain and or equivalent experiences desirable
  • Planning and agility to handle unexpected changes
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Organized and committed to meeting deadlines
  • Solid knowledge of health and safety in the warehouse and delivery environment
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including extensive knowledge of AS400.
