Job description

Quest Audio Visual is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team of growing event professionals. Based in Toronto, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all warehouse operations and any projects as assigned. This person will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of equipment QC, maintenance and repair, and working with inventory control system. The Warehouse Manager will report directly to the Operations Manager.

When in the Warehouse, work will be completed in an environment with exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members may use high‑end audio visual equipment and electrical components. Working times may include irregular hours and on‑call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Accurately receive, ship and label product, pick‑up product from inventoried locations and pack orders efficiently and accurately for delivery to venues and/or other warehouses
  • Perform basic quality control (QC) procedures, presentation of equipment and inventory control
  • Implement new and maintain existing system procedures. (IE. Finding new ways to package contents within system for a more efficient prep process etc.)

Logistics and Transportation:

  • Prepare and process shipments to ship small parcel, LTL and via internal fleet
  • Ability to operate industrial powered forklifts including (i.e. Sit‑down, reach, stock picker and powered pallet jack)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Potential for travel - driving trucks in and out of province for events and delivery or pick up of equipment from vendors.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure the highest standards of service while maintaining operation efficiency and a cohesive relationship with other departments
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Maintain a working knowledge of equipment
