Job summary

UAP Inc. at the Edmonton NAPA distribution center seeks a Warehouse Team Leader to supervise order preparation from receiving to shipping and to coordinate daily warehouse activities.

You will ensure accurate merchandise handling, maintain safe operation of equipment, and lead a team of employees while reporting issues to supervisors. A minimum of 1 year in a similar role and knowledge of WMS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant warehouse experience.
• Understanding of warehousing, shipping and receiving.
• Strong organizational and procedural discipline.
• WMS knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise order preparation from receiving to shipping.
• Verify merchandise discrepancies and route management.

Job Description

Within the NAPA distribution center located at Edmonton, you will work closely with the Supervisors and the Warehouse Manager.

As a Warehouse Team Leader, your main responsibilities will be:

• Supervise all aspects of order preparation, from receiving to shipping.
• Verify merchandise discrepancies and manage the opening and closing of routes.
• Ensure the proper functioning and safety of equipment in shipping and receiving areas.
• Coordinate the work of a team of employees and report any issues to the supervisors.
• Ensure the health and safety of workers.

Qualifications

To join our team, you need, among other things:

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Good understanding of warehousing, including shipping/receiving.
• Diligence in work organization and procedure control.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS) (an asset).
