Holland Power Services Inc., a subsidiary of Alectra Inc., is a leading power line restoration company in North America, with operations across New Brunswick, Ontario, Quebec, and New England. We specialize in emergency power restoration, working closely with utility contractors to ensure swift, safe, and efficient recovery during storm events.

Our warehouse operations support this critical work by maintaining a wide range of inventory, including power line restoration materials, tools, equipment, and consumables required to support field crews and emergency response efforts. Accurate inventory control and efficient warehouse execution are essential to our success.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, highly organized, and self‑directed Warehouse Inventory Specialist to manage and control all aspects of warehouse inventory operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate stock levels, efficient inventory processes, and timely replenishment to support daily operations.

This role operates independently, with labor support provided as needed, and provides inventory and warehouse support to other divisions as required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts and audits
  2. Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  3. Monitor inventory turnover and identify obsolete or slow‑moving stock
  4. Coordinate with Purchasing to forecast inventory needs
  5. Use inventory/ERP systems for tracking, reporting, and data accuracy
  6. Oversee shipping and receiving activities
  7. Recommend process improvements and ensure warehouse safety compliance
  8. Provide inventory and warehouse support to other divisions as required
Qualifications
  1. 3–5 years of inventory or warehouse experience
  2. Post‑secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (asset)
  3. Proficiency with inventory management or ERP systems
  4. Strong Excel skills, including spreadsheets, formulas, data analysis, and reporting
  5. Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
  6. Effective communication skills across departments
  7. Advanced level English proficiency with strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
  8. Knowledge of applicable warehouse safety standards
  9. Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs
  10. Ability to safely operate or work around warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be provided if needed)
