Job summary

Lineage Logistics is hiring for a warehouse forklift role in Delta, BC. The shift schedule is Monday–Thursday 3:00 PM–11:30 PM and Friday 12:00 PM–8:30 PM.

Starting rate is 23 per hour, with a pay range of 20.10–31.39 per hour depending on experience and site needs. The role requires operating various material handling equipment, reading RF orders, placing and picking palletized items, and keeping accurate counts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret pallet IDs and input counts.
• Basic math skills for quantities and weights.
• Ability to understand instructions in English or other defined language.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for racks.
• Pick pallets from rack locations for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, and counts via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Read work orders to locate items and ship quantities.
• Wrap pallets securely and document damages/discrepancies.
• Complete forklift maintenance and monitor battery charge.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized.

Shift: Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM & Friday: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PMStarting rate: $23 per hourUse a variety of material handling equipment to move products, equipment, and materials on and off trucks or throughout the facility while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPut away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor heightPick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipmentMay choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via Radio Frequency (RF) systemLoad and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting deviceRead and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities, types of products to be shipped and the location of requested items in the warehouseDocument and report damages and discrepancies to supervisors or leadsMay need to pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for shipping using Radio Frequency (RF) scanning equipment to document and verify counts of picked items; otherwise, ensure all palletized stock is securely wrapped before placement on racks or transporting through the warehouseComplete daily forklift maintenance/check sheetMonitor battery charge and leave material handling equipment at the designated storage area; may need to maintain and clean batteries, depending on siteAlert appropriate leader of any issues with the product or materials and await directions to rectify the problemHelp clean and organize the warehouse at the end or throughout the shiftMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)Must be able to identify products through reading, interpreting, and scanning or manually inputting pallet identification numbersBasic math skillsAbility to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage LogisticsAbility to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gearMust be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facilityAbility to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if neededMust be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loudPay Range:$20.10 - $31.39Why Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
